About Us
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization run by volunteers and established in 1975 to raise funds to support programs and services at the Callahan Center and to keep seniors active and involved in our Framingham, MA community. We offer programs and services geared to people 55 and older from Framingham and surrounding communities. Older adults, who might otherwise be isolated, have a safe place to find comfort and enjoyment with others, while improving their physical and emotional well-being. The Friends do what we can to support the efforts of the Callahan Center and encourage people to participate. We also provide funds for communications with our seniors: mailing for the Callahan Courier and the cost of Constant Contact email notices.

We believe in the power of community and the positive impact it can have on the lives of seniors. Our mission is to provide a supportive and engaging environment that enables seniors to embrace their golden years with dignity and joy.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote greater community interest and perpetuate the dignity and well-being of senior citizens.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a vibrant and inclusive community where seniors are valued, respected, and empowered to lead fulfilling lives, actively contributing to the social fabric of our Framingham community.
